The interview process is a very lengthy process. First the group, then 1:1 with the hiring mgr, mock call- 1:1 director and lastly 1:1 with sales mgr. I didn't have the best experience with the 1:1 with the hiring manager- she was very cold- scrambling with her laptop...didn't even review my resume before hand. Be honest, but direct. On your sales call-- keep it to 20mins. It seems like a good company to work for, but the interview process was very cold. It's true that it seems like a sorority recruitment. It's true that experience does not matter here- they quite prefer that you don't have much employment experience so that they can "mold" you better. Be quick when you are hired- non-performers are cut pretty quick after you are hired...
All in all- their interview process left a bad taste in my mouth. It seems like a great company, but get ready to judged on all aspects of your life.

Get ready to know your education and work time line like the back of your hand.

Great company to work for. They have a stringent hiring process. You will have multiple interviews followed by a presentation at the end. All in all they want to see if you understand their platform and user mentality. Big props if you show your personality or if you have a positive attitude it will go a long way. It was definitely gruelling but totally fair as the job itself is quit full on.

Houzz places a large emphasis on role playing in the interview process, both for external and internal roles. It's daunting in the moment but is actually good practice and gives interviewers a good sense of how you think on your feet
