Recruiter phone screen, followed by a meeting with the hiring manager, followed by a take home assignment, followed by a presentation with someone? and then finally, another panel interview.. Take home assignments? We have lives outside of work and I am sure candidates do not want to spend 8+ hours on an assignment to learn they will not move onto the next stage. Also, at the end of the recruiter phone screen, the recruiter will ask you how excited you are about the role/company after your discussion and I said a 7 out of 10. He seemed surprised it was that low but when your constantly hyping up a company and yourself (spent too much time going through his background - is this interview about you or me?), it tends to send a bad vibe. My advice for future interviewers, just lie and say 10 and that youre super excited about the role and company.
