Phone interview. Fast start, jumped right in, hurried. Discussed candidate's experience, types of contracts handled, size of contracts, compensation expectations (which is where I ended the interview). Interviewer explained "high volume", expectation to "upsell" during contract renewals.

Question 1
Asked about candidate's experience, types of contracts handled, size of contracts, compensation expectations (which is where I ended the interview).
Interviewed twice. Great experience with recruiter in the screening (1st interviewed). But Salary was very low. Didn’t decide to advance. In one opportunity they said they know it was lower than the market and as a company was going to review that across all positions.
I hope they did because the culture and values of this company is great!

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at HubSpot (Dublin, Dublin) in Sep 2025
Interview
The interview process itself was smooth, and I had a great experience with each of the culture fit interviewers. That said, having 4–5 rounds for a Contract Manager role felt excessive, especially to then hear that I wasn’t selected, despite nearly eight years of experience in renewals.
I can’t help but notice that some candidates with little to no relevant experience are getting these roles, which makes me wonder what the key factors really are in the selection process.

The interview process was very thoughtful and thorough. The steps were outlined clearly from the start of the process and while I was not selected I appreciated the process and the people.
