Here are the most commonly searched roles for interview reports -
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at HubSpot in Oct 2021
Interview
Initial call was a good experience - experienced recruiter and we spoke about goals - KPI, data - I was excited
The final round is where I had issues. The panel need to step back and remember interviews are a two way process - the panel were not welcoming or friendly
At times looked bored and didn’t seem to listen to answers. It was distracting
No break was given on the interview - as a recruiter I always ensure a short break is offered to candidates
During long zoom calls
Again like previous feedback here - being interviewed by someone with substantially less experience is something I found a little odd.
Overall - disappointing experience on final round after a great initial call on first round.
No phone call with feedback - a generic template emailed with rejection.
No matter how busy I am as a recruiter - if candidates takes time to complete full rounds of interviews - call them - have respect for time - don’t hit a button to send a generic template

Question 1
Tell me about yourself, your recruiting experience.
I applied online. I interviewed at HubSpot in Jan 2026
Interview
Started process with a phone screening lasting about 30/35 minutes with a recruiter.
Next step was interview with one of the hiring managers.
They were 15 minutes late, spent the majority of the interview reading something on another screen, did not seem to be listening to me as I had to clarify aspects of my previous job on more than one occasion as they kept claiming incorrect things about my job.
They also mentioned they had “talked to a a lot of people who worked in my company” and again stated incorrect things about my experience they had just assumed for some reason.
At the end they told me they would read over the answers I gave that were recorded by the AI note taker and make her decision.
Didn’t seem to be listening and seemed to have just had an idea in her head based on talking to someone else in a different department in my old job and wasn’t bothered to consider I might be doing something different.
I had 3 to 4 steps in my process:
Recruiter interview
3 managers interviews
Debriefing session and feedback
Resources were sent by the recruiter
I was smooth but a little bit long (2 months)
