I applied online. I interviewed at HubSpot in Mar 2022
Interview
The recruiter asked basic questions but kept getting facts from my resume wrong, like mentioning a company I never worked for. It was deflating to have a first round interview with someone who didn't seem to care at all about doing her job.
I applied online. I interviewed at HubSpot (New York, NY) in Jan 2026
Interview
The interview process consisted of an introductory recruiter phone screening, a virtual interview with the hiring manager, a panel interview with cross functional partners, and a technical screening. The recruiter was very helpful and provided a lot of supplementary resources to assist throughout the interview process.

Question 1
How do you integrate AI tooling into your workflows?
Multi-staged and after screening and hiring manager, it was a panel each time thereafter. No presentation but the usual competency stuff and you were told what each interviewer would be assessing. It was quite uniform and they had a bank of questions they used. A little impersonal/less conversational as a result.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you had to make a decision that was good for the company and bad for the customer
Very inclusive & comprehensive, all steps were very clear, and all interviewers were approachable, professional, and well prepared. The process was also flexible, with a variety of times & dates provided.
