I applied online. I interviewed at Humana in Dec 2020
Interview
Initial interview was done through ModernHire where standard interview questions were asked. A recruiter then reached out to schedule time with the hiring manager. The hiring manager asked questions very specific to the job listing. It was a good conversation and was engaging. That is until the manager started asking about whether I had a family, and if I had kids. I'll never understand why that question is appropriate (this is especially true considering the demographics of the hiring manager and candidate). Not only should it not be asked, but it's illegal. It could have been a very innocent question, but is best left to after an offer is made.
