I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at IBM in Feb 2012
Interview
I applied for the position on the IBM website. The position had been posted daily on Monster.com for over a week. Within 48 hours, I was contacted via e-mail to answer simple questions about my eligibilty for working at IBM. Questions such as, "Have you worked for IBM before?" or "Are you currently working with any other IBM Recruiters?"
I answered the simple question sheet, and expected to hear from the recruiter within a day or so. After two days, I attempted to follow up via phone, and spoke to someone who answered for the recruiter. The person who answered the phone stated "Im not real good with these phone things, why dontcha call back and I'll let it ring so you can leave her a voice thingy." After leaving multiple voicemails and replying to the recruiters e-mails about the status of the position, I eventually stopped trying.
I was overall dissappointed that after being contacted once, no one would return my attempts to contact IBM.
