I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at IBM (Hong Kong) in Dec 2014
Interview
Three Steps Process:
1) Online Application and short online Math/Logic test.
2) Interview Day One - Panel & Individual Interview:
Two panels and one individual interview about motivation, personal background and IT/presentation/negotiation skills. Also one hour of written english test (essay writing).
3) Interview Day Two: Partner Interview and another two panels with general questions about IBM and its current partnerships/challenges.
Offer was being made about 14 days after the last interview day.
I feel that IBM is very diligent in selecting a fitting character for the company. Not many questions were asked about knowledge/logic/skills but many about attitudes, personal strategies, etc.
Most of the people that got an offer were the extroverted kind with very good English & presentation skills. IT and Maths/Logic seems to play a minor role in the selection process once passed the online logic test.
