I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at ICON (New York, NY) in Sep 2021
Interview
Very engaged and good process, interviewed initially with recruiter then with PM and Project director. Had to reschedule a few times and they were very understanding. Sent benefits for review ahead of time and also application for processing. Plus drug test was required
The interview process was generally fine. The interview itself was professional and the appropriate questions for the role were asked. Where the issue arose was after the interview when I was ghosted by the talent acquisition team. Extremely unprofessional and disappointing. I will avoid applying for jobs here in the future and hope no one else has this same experience.

The interview process is a multi-step journey designed to evaluate a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and overall fit for a specific role within a company. It typically begins when a candidate submits their application, which includes a resume, cover letter, and sometimes a portfolio or additional documents. The employer then conducts a preliminary screening of all submissions, using either human review or automated systems like applicant tracking software to filter out those who most closely match the job criteria.
