I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at IHOP (Plano, TX) in Aug 2015
Interview
It was very easy. They called me for a scheduled group interview. The first part was with the hiring manager and he asked very basic and general questions like "why did you apply here" and "do you know anyone that works here?". after that they told me to go back to the front and then they called me back for the final interview with the general Manager who asked questions like "how would you describe yourself/others describe you?" and other questions to get to know your personality in a sense. It was really easy and simple.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at IHOP (Tucson, AZ) in Nov 2025
Interview
The interview process entailed of the Manager giving me a rundown of what to expect working there and ensuring if I was okay with all the listed duties, I wasn't asked many questions.
The interview process was straight forward. I went in, asked for an application, filled it out, spoke to the manager, and I got the job within a few days. One of the questions I asked was if they did direct deposit, and they don't, they give paper checks instead.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at IHOP (Alexandria, VA) in Apr 2023
Interview
I was waiting at a table, till the assistant manager came ask what position I was looking into. He gave me the papers to fill out and then asked me to come to the next part of the interview an other day. I come back and the manager asked when I can start working. I answered as soon as possible. He asked what do I want to do in my future and how long I plan to work there. I think I got hired because I could work as soon as possible, spoke Spanish, and would be working full-time.
