Question 1
how do you help a client understand their needs and wants
This was by far the worst interview experience I've had. The interview process started in February. I was first contacted by a recruiter and then moved forward to have 3 interview rounds, each with multiple members of the team. I had received great feedback and was told that they saw huge potential with me on the team and that I was in a great position within the hiring pool, they just needed to find the right fit within the team. From there weeks went by without me hearing anything. I followed up several times but didn't receive any clear communication on my candidacy status or what the next steps were. I had consistently been following up every few weeks and eventually in April heard back about another interview round. From there I had 2 more rounds of interviews only to stop hearing from them again. I continued to follow up for weeks after with them just saying the final decision hadn't been made yet.
Eventually, I stopped reaching out and didn't hear anything from them until finally in mid July I received an automated rejection email. This was 6 MONTHS after I had initially been contacted by them. Job searching is exhausting and wasting a candidates time like this is never okay. Stringing a candidate along for months and putting them through 5+ interviews for one position is so disrespectful. I definitely feel like I dodged a bullet my not working at this company.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at IQVIA (London, England) in Jul 2019
Interview
Pre-screen with recruiter, 3 rounds with IQVIA starting with TC, then F2F with LM and final presentation on previous sales process achievements given to LM and a wider team. Pretty relaxing and straightforward process. Offer came in hours following the final round of interview. Much simpler process compared to other healthcare/life sciences organisations
