General interview about my background and ability to solve problems in my field of study. Then a "take-home assignment" that took a few hours. Finally an interview with team head. No response for a couple of weeks, had to ask to find out they went with someone else.
After applying online I was contacted a few days later for a phone interview. The phone interview was casual and focused on my knowledge of the content and how I would teach it. Second interview was a design challenge where you had a change to demonstrate the types of problems and explanations you would write.

What from your research on the company made you want to work here?
I applied online. I interviewed at IXL Learning in Aug 2017
Interview
Submitted resume online, got an email to schedule a phone interview based on west coast times. Had to email back and forth a few times because it supposedly had to happen when both west coast and east coast people could be on the phone. I ended up talking to only 1 person instead of the multiple people I was expecting. Made it mostly conversational, asking about my experiences and what I thought about their website then finishing with a design challenge (that had little to do with the job I was applying for).

General question about the website and what I might change about it. Also a brain teaser about the physical design/interface of a question.
