      Frontend Engineer Interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at InfoTrack (London, England) in May 2025

      Interview

I recently had a disappointing interview experience with InfoTrack. It began with a promising conversation with the CTO, which gave the impression of a transparent and engaging hiring process. Expectations were clear, and the role seemed like a strong match for my skills. Following that, I was given a take-home coding assessment that required several days of focused effort. I put in significant time to ensure the solution was well-structured, tested, and professionally presented, believing it would be carefully reviewed and appreciated. However, after submitting the test, I heard nothing back—no acknowledgment, no feedback, and no response to follow-up emails. The complete lack of communication after such an investment of time felt unprofessional and dismissive. A simple response or any form of closure would have made a big difference.
