An internal recruiter reached out to me via LinkedIn, I agreed to take the call. I was quickly put through to the next 2 rounds of interviews. Communication was good and all conversations with the recruiter made it seem like I was getting the job offer. They scheduled a final call with the hiring manager "to get to know me on a personal level" before moving forward to the offer. I took the call, I didn't think much about it as I thought I would be receiving the offer. The hiring manager asked several personal questions that helped them identify protected class information. Two hours later I received an email they were not moving forward.
