I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at InnovAge (Denver, CO) in Dec 2016
Interview
I was cold called by a recruiter from the company, she wanted me to interview for 2 positions, one was a nurse manager position, the other Regional Director. I agreed to come in for the Regional Nurse position, it was an hour away, late in the day during a snow storm. But still, I arrived early and the person who interviewed me made me wait for about 15 min and did not apologize for the delay. We interviewed for 2 whole hours and they never wrote down anything I said. Very nice though, promised to let me know the results in 2-3 weeks when all interviews were completed. I sent a thank you text and I never ever heard a word back. Saw the job posted again 18 days later. Their Indeed and Glassdoor reviews were pretty bad but I knew they were in great transition from non-profit to profit and many benefits had been lost, but wow. They really don't care about people. They call you, convince you to come in, that you have exactly what they are looking for and then don't give one enough respect to just get in touch and say, "We didn't find the right match and will continue our search, but thanks so much for coming in." Of course by the way they treated this human, I will not refer any potential patients or staff. All it would have taken was a text or email. Especially after she promised she would get back. No respect for another person. It reminded me of the review of the company where the elderly woman still didn't have reading glasses after 4 months, the family was hounding the company to no avail.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I was asked all the normal questions, nothing great or unusual that I haven't been asked a ton of times but when someone says, "Tell me about your experience," and has your resume right in front of them I am always amazed. Before I interview someone I have gone over the resume with a fine tooth comb and have relevant questions prepared, she did not ever read my resume, it was obvious.
Thank you for the feedback. We sincerely apologize for any frustration this may have caused you. We strive for every candidate to have the best experience when applying to one of our positions. We are working internally to ensure we continuously improve upon our candidate experience.
