I can't say enough good things about my process at Instacart. While there were some hiccups with communication from time to time with HR, the process is clear and structured and every conversation I had felt meaningful and purposeful. It starts with a call with HR followed by a call with a knowledgeable and kind (in my experience) hiring manager. After that I was sent home a package with swag and a gift card to "get some coffee on them". The last stage was a panel of 3 equally impressive people half an hour at the time. If you have a chance to interview for or join this company, I strongly suggest you go for it and be prepared.
