I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Instacart in Oct 2025
Interview
The initial scheduling process involved a few changes before the interview took place. When we finally connected, the call was scheduled for 30 minutes but lasted around 9 minutes. During the conversation, I was asked three main questions: “Tell me about your recent job experience,” “Why Instacart?” and “Why sales?”
While I appreciated the opportunity to speak with the company, the interview felt a bit rushed and surface-level. There wasn’t much time for follow-up questions or discussion of my background, skills, or fit for the role. It was disappointing because I felt well prepared and qualified, but I didn’t have the chance to demonstrate that.
In comparison to other screening interviews I’ve had, this one felt brief and lacked engagement. I still respect the company and its mission, but I hope future candidates experience a more conversational and in-depth process.
