Quick yet tumultuous
Applied online and received a call from the recruiter. Quick and easy conversation. Decided to move me forward.
Had a second call - this went really well. This interview was very organic and felt like a conversation more than an interview. This person was amazing to talk to and answered so many questions.
Received a call from the recruiter same day saying they would like to move me forward and ask I give them some times for the next step. I was going to be out of town on vacation the rest of the week and they asked if I could still make time the same week as they were very excited to move me forward and looking to fill the role within the next week. I consented and decided to make time during my vacation.
Second interview - Very much like the first. Super engaging and again felt more like a conversation than an interview. Immediately receive something from the recruiter asking me to schedule a third interview.
Third interview - this is where it all went downhill. Something about this interview seemed very off. I don't know if the person I was speaking with was nervous or what but it was very odd. Very different from the other two experiences. Basically went through the gamut of standard interview questions. This person looked as though they had to force a smile every now and than and frankly looked they they didn't want to be there.
Get an email from the recruiter post this call letting me know they will touch base with me the next day as they are wanting someone to start the following Monday. Next day I receive an email stating that they decided I wasn't fit for the role and wanted to know if I had any questions. I followed up with what exactly happened in the third interview as a major deterrent. Recruiter said they would get back with me and......I'm still waiting
This process was an absolute roller coaster and I wouldn't go out of my way to appease or accommodate them
