I was very excited to be referred to a position at Instrument, but the interview process was long and drawn out. The upside, had I gotten the role, would be that I got to know the leadership team and spend quality time with the organization. The downside as a candidate who did not get the role was that I invested so much time in something that didn't pan out. If I had been able to keep some of the relationships I built, then that would have felt like a win. Unfortunately, that was not the case.

Spoke with HR for an initial screen, then asked to meet the hiring manager and prepare a slide presentation demonstrating a project for a role I’ve been doing for years.
A recruiter screening call, and then you’re asked to conduct a 20 min case study with the senior leads. If you pass that, you are asked to meet the team and discuss qualifications for an hour.

I found the team to be really nice and well prepared for all meetings and the setup was very clear. Good conversation and I knew what was expected at each point in the process.
