I got an email from a Hiring manager after I submitted my resume at a career fair at my school and created a profile on the Intel website. Soon after I was scheduled an interview with an engineer from the LTD Reliability group. I had heard that the first interview is usually with the HR people so I wasn't quite prepared for a 1-hr-long technical interview. They asked me about the work I have described in my resume, going back to my bachelor's degree 14 years ago. The questions were pretty basic device physics questions as well as characterization of semiconductor devices (specifically MOSFETs and MOSCaps as this is what I had worked on previously)
iMy Intel software intern interview experience was good and technical. The interviewer asked about programming languages, data structures, OOP concepts, DBMS, and some coding questions. They also discussed my projects, problem-solving skills, teamwork, and interest in software development and cloud technologies.
