Two engineers were assigned to assess me. They only had about 15 minutes. They asked very few questions that would actually assess my deeper technical experience. Rather the main question they had was "What is the first thing that you would do when checking a circuit"? I answered "Check the power supply or supply voltages). It took me more than 5 minutes to get the answer that they were looking for: "A DMM". They didn't want to know whether I knew how the tool worked, or how I would approach a method of problem solving.
