The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Intermountain Health (Salt Lake City, UT) in Aug 2023
Interview
I received an automated email that an interview time had been assigned without having any way to communicate back. The interview was a panel with 4 interviewers and was extremely robotic. They took turns asking questions without any room for conversation. When I asked for clarification on one question I was not given any. I did not receive any time to talk about my experience or skills. I was told I would hear back in a couple days and I never heard from them again.

Question 1
If you received a laptop that does not turn on what would be your troubleshooting process?
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Intermountain Health in Dec 2023
Interview
I applied for the System Support Internship position at LDS Hospital and about two days later the recruiter reached out via text explaining the position and asked if I would like to continue with the interview process. I said yes and then heard back from the hiring manager to schedule an interview for the next day. The interview was over Zoom and three managers were interviewing me.
The individuals who were interviewing me were quite cold, serious, and not personable even when I tried to make conversation before we began the actual interview because we were waiting for one of the managers to enter the meeting. We proceeded to sit in an awkward silence whilst staring at one another. This made me quite uncomfortable so the rest of the interview was not the best.
They asked me complex behavioral questions one after the other with no room for conversation. It was like rapid-fire questions. Then, they asked quite a few technical questions that were arbitrary and vague. I thought those questions for an internship were excessive and unnecessary. I understand why interviewers ask technical questions (to gauge your trouble-shooting/critical thinking abilities even when you don't know the answer). For an internship whose description stated "basic knowledge of how to work a computer, keyboard, and mouse", the questions were superfluous. I am not applying for a full-time, salaried, secured position. It is an internship/apprenticeship starting at $16 an hour with variable working hours (typically less than 35) and no benefits.
I know there is a lot of good in IHC and I do hear that it is a wonderful place to work (perhaps in other departments), but my interview was such a negative experience that I will not be pursuing a career with them in the future when I gain more familiarity/background in my field. Even in the IT field, you should have basic interpersonal skills and even though I was the interviewee, it's also a chance to have a glimpse into the company's dynamics and be an interviewer yourself. I was not impressed and the individuals who met with me were not outstanding representatives of IHC.

Question 1
I wish I remembered the technical questions to help some of you- a lot of them were very specific networking questions so I suppose you should study CompTIA material before the interview to prepare for your pop quiz. :) The behavioral and situational questions were along the lines of: "What are some ways that you keep yourself organized?", "How do you maintain a work/life balance", "Tell us about your best day at work and your worst day at work". But again, these questions came one after the other from each of the interviewers.
