I applied online and about a week after, I got a call from HR asking to schedule an interview. They don't give you very much time to prepare, HR asked if I could come in tomorrow. I agreed & the interview process was with one person. She was very friendly & let me know that the interview was going to be different than the ones she does for different positions. She talked a lot about the job, her family, the lab, & most importantly; time commitment. She wanted someone who was willing to go through the training & get certified in the end to continue long term. Overall she asked me ONE interview question, only ONE. Also, The hours weren't negotiable. Once the interview is over, she went around the lab showing me a little tour on how most things run around that department. After about a week I called HR to see how things were going, they mentioned they were still in the process of calling references. A week later, I received an email stating the position was taken.
