I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Intuit (Mississauga, ON)
Interview
Had my first and only bad interview experience at Intuit. This recently promoted hiring manager did a one-way, interrogation with me, firing 6 or so questions over 9 mins, obviously just going through the list of questions she had, without exploring or clarifying my response. Showed no courtesy, no interest in my profile. I did my due diligence, and juggled a few things to seriously prepare for this interview, only to be treated as such. This person poorly represented the company and could use a 101 on how to treat job seekers with courtesy and respect.
Ghosted, after putting in so much time and effort. I don't think that there is any excuse for ghosting candidates, after multiple follow ups. Its understandable that sometimes situations might have changed, say the role is being put on hold. But the least one can do is to acknowledge that they are working on providing an update.
There is a high level of accountability problem across the board for recruiters these days. They have one job (literally there is someone else for scheduling).
I won't be naming names, but what goes around comes around. After all Its a small recruiters' market.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Intuit (Mountain View, CA) in Sep 2024
Interview
A recruiter on Linkedin reached out about a specific role. I had a 30 minute screening interview with questions around experience and career goals. I was asked to do an urgent interview with the hiring manager the same day. I did not hear back after, even after reaching out to the recruiter. Pretty rude after accommodating their schedule.
