I ran across the opportunity on LinkedIn and reached out to hiring principal manager as it was a dead on fit to my background. TBH I was over qualified but it’s a terrible job market. met with the hiring manager and every thing went very well. Scheduled a follow up and final interview with a panel of four people. It didn’t go particularly well when life cycle marketing manager was looking for a specific answer I didn’t have but insisted on drilling down on it 3 times. So I was flustered and just went through the motions of the rest knowing I wouldn’t be getting an offer. Sometimes it just doesn’t click so I expected a no thanks email.
To my surprise the hiring manager was back on LinkedIn advertising the role within a few hours; and as of almost 2 weeks later I’ve been ghosted. Seeing as how we conversed on this platform just days prior I was pretty astonished by the lack or courtesy and not sending a 10 second email saying no thanks. of note HR wasn’t involved in this process in anyway so maybe that’s to blame for the unprofessional behavior of mailchimp marketing.

Interview
5-6 rounds of interviews. interviewers seemed confused at times. long waits for correspondance. I ultimately had to accept another position. They kept giving deadlines for correspondances and missing them almost to the point of ghosting, but were also not dismissing me from the interview process.
