The start of the application and interview process was standard, pleasant, and seamless. The end of the interview process, on the other hand, was pretty frustrating. After the phone screening, the phone interview, and an in-person interview day filled with five individual meetings, the recruiter ghosted me.
There was no courtesy call, no rejection email, and no response to my follow-up email.
Interviewing costs candidates precious PTO. Have the decency and respect for the person, and at the very least send a generic rejection email instead of the radio silence approach.
