Brief phone interview with no hard questions. Recruiter basically wanted to know your background & work experience. 2nd interview was in person with 6 people. The 1st two people took me out to lunch :) and then I interviewed with the VP, Dir., Dir., and Manager. I probably didn't get the position b/c I don't have much experience and I'm a recent undergrad. Also, b/c I'm not a good "cultural fit" i.e. not white. I would advise you to talk about the energy industry and seem personable /funny.

I met with several people from the department over the course of four weeks. The interviews mostly focused on behavioral questions, prior experience, and my interest in the firm. I was coming from a separate field and it seemed like they were willing to teach you.

1st round was a screener phone call with HR. They asked basic questions to make sure your skills match the job. 2nd and 3rd rounds were with individuals from the team I was interviewing for. They mostly focused on determining if I was competent. Seemed like they are confident in their ability to teach the industry to new-comers. 4th round was in the Chicago office after a tour of the work space. I met with several individuals on the team then the big boss came in.
