Applied the position through LinkedIn. Went through 7 rounds of interviews either through phone or zoom as follows: Interview 1: Phone screening with a recruiter Interview 2: Fit interview with potential manager via Zoom Interview 3 & 4: Business Case Interviews via Zoom Interview 5 & 6: Phone interviews with upper management team members Interview 7: Phone interview with potential boss's boss. I also had to submit referrals from five colleagues, two of them had to be from my former boss. After nearly 6 weeks of process, I was rejected. I don't really feel bad about the interviewing as I find them "exercise" for my next interviews etc. However, I am extremely mad about submitting referrals, especially from my former bosses just to get rejected. If they ask you to to submit referrals, make sure you are the last candidate standing and you respect time and efforts of other people, especially your former bosses. Stress out that you have no intention of submitting referrals if your application is still "under consideration among other candidates". I found them to be extremely rude and unprofessional to reject application after referrals, and I am blacklisting this company to ever apply for a job again. If they have no respect for my colleagues and former bosses and time and effort, I don't think the company has good morals who would deserve my hard work.
