The interview process was non-traditional. However, more like a conversation about your experience and qualifications with the director and account manager. Management team actually take the time to get to know you during the interview process.

Interview
First communication stated she wanted to meet within 5 business days and asked for my availability. I responded same day with very open availability. She responded that I should use her calendly link which showed no availability for the next two weeks. Ok, whatever. I scheduled for the first available and responded to her that I scheduled time and was looking forward to meeting. There was no communication leading up to our scheduled time, which is completely fine. Day of, I’m waiting with my phone, when I get an email a minute after our interview was supposed to start stating: “hi ——, we are cancelling your interview because it was filled internally. Thanks!” Very lackadaisical, very apathetic, and quite rude to not tell me before our time. She clearly forgot to email me until the meeting notification popped up on her computer. I care less that the position was filled, and more about how they told me. This definitely paints JB hunt in a bad light for me.

Interview
Two Main Questions: What does Intermodal mean? Are you comfortable managing people(drivers) older than you? Most of the interview is baseline questions like why you think your right for the job and why you applied. Upper management conducted the interview and it was very laid back, didn’t even wear a tie.
