It was actually an 'open day', a dozens of undergraduates were inviting after screening and some video interview. Some participants got return offer for a summer intern at the private banking devision in Hong Kong.

Instead of a formal interview setting it was just an 'open day', with representative from various department coming to share their daily work. however at the end there is a 'mock interview' and those who have demonstrated thorough interest and financial knowledge, as well as decent behavior though out the day may be contacted afterwards.

Assessment centre was 2 30 min interviews. Questions were based on motivation. Heavy emphasis on commercial awareness. Asked in both interviews what's something i've been keeping up with in the markets and then in both interviews we began discussions from there.

Overall is smooth，question is quite professional and the process is great. Questions is more at personality rather than technique question，question focus on communication skills and problems sloving skills with co-worker and client.

Sat down for an in-person with multiple interviewers after an initial phone call. Spoke with the more senior members last. The process involved questioning my experience and also the scope of my book.

They asked me if I had a book. They seemed near exclusively looking for those with books. This is fine in my opinion, but I was there over an hour interviewing until the principal interviewed me and told me shortly that it wasn't a good fit. I should have seen the principal first.
