I applied online. I interviewed at J.P. Morgan (London, England)
Interview
First round is about online tests, then they invite you for a video interview. If you pass those two stages you are invited to the Markets Assessment centre. They give brief information about it only the day before, like which desk your first interviews will be at. Other things, you should know what's happening in the markets and have a general knowledge of finance, it really depends if the interviewer will ask you a technical question or not but it's better to be prepared. In the morning, generally they have 2 interviews. After the 1-hour lunch break, you are told whether you will have more interviews or not. So expect around 5 interviews for the entire day. My interview was conducted over Zoom in which I got to talk to other contestants, a lot of them said the interviewers seemed to be busy and some of them even seemed not to be listening due to their work. Try not to let it get you down if that happens to you, just in case ;)
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Mostly behavioural question, and what you would do in a specific situation. Try to learn some scenarios for the most common questions so that you have something good to talk about. Examples: What is the most challenging thing you had to face at work, how did you manage to overcome it?
