Interviews themselves were good - friendly people with whom I thought I had a good rapport. Got through to the final two. In total had around 9x interviews with 8x different people to get to that stage.
The bad part came afterwards. I waited and waited, but never received a response. I chased HR via email, and received no reply. Eventually I gave up and assumed I’d been rejected.
Incredibly disrespectful to simply ghost someone who took 3x days off work and spent much more time prepping. Given that I got to final 2, a standard rejection email really would not have been too much to ask. I was senior in the buy side prior to applying for this role, and was a direct client of JP Morgan research - it’s left a very bad taste in my mouth. Even from a business point of view, not making a client feel disrespected would’ve been wiser. Would you want to work for such a firm?
