I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at J.P. Morgan (Bournemouth, England) in Nov 2015
Interview
The assessment centre took place in Bournemouth. There were 45 minutes for answering technical questions in a question book. There were 4 questions in total. Then an one-hour technical interview. Because I answered all questions correctly so she only asked me to explain the first question, and then she asked me some general questions on software. The second was competency-based during which the interviewer simply read through her question sheet and wrote down every sentence I said. Then a group discussion. The assessment centre was not at JP Morgan office, suprisingly it was in a temporary place, and everyone was having the interviews simultaneously in an open environment. This gave me a very bad impression on the company. For the group discussion part, my suggestion is to engage, and focus on the topic. But do not talk too much, give other people some chance to express their ideas.
