I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at JCPenney (Westminster, CA) in Jul 2018
Interview
The interview process was very easy! It was a group interview with two other applicants and the manager just asked us simple questions like "Why do you want to work here?" "What would you do in this situation?" I came in thinking that the interview was going to be super hard and stressful, but it was the complete opposite. The manager who interviewed me was also very friendly and made the interview process a whole lot better.

Question 1
What would you do if a customer was upset with her experience at JC Penney?
It was fairly straightforward and easy. The woman I interviewed with was nice and not very intimidating. They took about a week to get back with me about an interview after I applied for the position.
I applied online. I interviewed at JCPenney (Alpharetta, GA) in Sep 2024
Interview
I was contacted by email about my application. Contacted HR Supervisor and scheduled an interview date and time. Met with HR the next day for an in person interview. Very informative conversation with HR Supervisor.
Very efficient and the interviewer was very nice and gave me a lot of time to answer questions. The questions were not hard and they were very manageable. It was more so a discussion rather than an interview.
