Interview
Two days after applying, I was contacted for an interview for three days later. I found out after arriving that it was a group interview (there were about 12 of us). They first told us to mingle and introduce ourselves.Then they gave us a marker and name tag and told us to think of a fun name to put on it. We then had to explain the name and tell a little about ourselves. Then we did a couple role playing exercises like pretending to be in an elevator with Bill Gates and getting 30 seconds to convince him to hire you, and acting out scenarios they gave us as customers and sales associates in groups of two. Overall it was fun experience.

They didnt ask us the usual typical interview questions. It was more about role playing and seeing how comfortable we were public speaking and how well we communicated.
It was overall an easy interview. In a group setting of interviewees, we were asked to each talk about what we thought good customer service was. Then, we had some blocks to build a structure, a house I remember. Without the person you were instructing being able to see the blueprint, you had to describe what to do with the blocks without touching the blocks. I didn't know how I did, but I got hired. This was the holidays of 2017. :)

I got a phone call to schedule an interview, which was quick and convenient. In the interview, one of the managers asked me star scenario questions and asked why I wanted to work for JCP. At the end of the interview, I got an offer.
