The interview process at J.P. Morgan was structured and thorough. It began with an online coding assessment focused on data structures and algorithms. This was followed by a technical interview where I discussed my past projects, especially one involving API security and Docker.
Then came a live coding challenge during the interview itself. Finally, there was a personal interview that focused on behavioral questions and understanding my motivation and fit for the company. Overall, the process tested both technical and soft skills.

Question 1
Describe one challenge you faced during your degree studies
I completed three rounds of interviews for the position, including technical assessments that evaluated my coding proficiency through practical problem-solving exercises designed to test relevant software development skills and knowledge.
Was given a leetcode problem within the first 4 mins of the interviewer. Wish I was making this up. Interviewers did not really introduce themselves besides names, straight to the code problem. The interview felt extremely cold. No soul, no passion, no discussion
Asked very scripted questions and everyone took a lot of notes. I really enjoyed the people I spoke with and they really made me think about the role and my past
