Question 1
Sitting on the side of the road you observe that at least one car drive by every 20 minutes. What is the probability to see exactly one car in 5 minutes ?
A phone call, about 40 mins long, there was no formalities only vet technical questions. Around about 4 questions, with extensions to them if you completed them quickly. You were expected to talk through your thought process and methods for solving these questions.
The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Jane Street (London, England) in Oct 2021

Hard, first interview wasn't so bad with some relatively basic probability questions, second interview was a massive step up contained much more difficult questions that took a longer period of time to answer

Zoom Interview with only audio. We had to think aloud while solving the questions. Questions were from estimation, probability and games. Lots of follow up questions were asked. It was difficult.
