I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Jane Street (London, England) in Feb 2019
Interview
It consisted of three phone interviews (each about an hour long) and then a day of on-site interviews, with about four of them (each about 75 mins long). They were generally thinking-based, not knowledge based.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
First interview had a lot of elementary probability questions, the second and the third were basically a probability game where coming up with a fair value wasn't trivial at all and it involved some heuristic thinking. The on-sites were based entirely on market making.

Overall, it was a pleasant interview experience. I answered a few personal questions and encountered one that was slightly confusing, but the interviewer was friendly, and the conversation flowed well overall
Probability questions, nothing crazy but quite open ended, they want to know your thought process and calculations. Pen and paper allowed but no calculator. No OA, a few rounds and got rejected. Zoom call with a trader.
