Interview
There was an informational call with the hiring manager, two phone screens (software engineering and machine learning) and an onsite in NYC with five interviews (two on machine learning, two on coding, and a deep dive into a past project).
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The coding questions could be done in any language and didn't require specific tricks. The ML questions required a basic understanding of Pytorch
The process started with an initial virtual round, followed by an onsite interview. It included a mix of system design and coding problems focused on real-world system applications. Unfortunately, I didn’t perform well in the onsite, which was the most critical stage.
It was a very quick and painless process. Recruiter very responsive, kind interviewers. High implementation and difficult problems, so failed onsite after 3 interviews and a Question and Answer Session.
Did not pass the initial coding round. I tried to explain my thought in details to the interviewer but failed to translate my thought into code. So far interviewer is very nice.
