Jefferson County (Colorado) interview questions

For my first interview, I was asked to prepare and present a 10 minute presentation. I never received any feedback, follow up, or a response indicating I would not be moving forward. It seems unprofessional to ask someone to extensively research and prepare a presentation, as a first interview, to then ghost them.

The interview happened in person, but the rest of the application was fully online. The interview took place at the school I applied for and not the main building. It lasted around 20 minutes.
