Looking for A LOT of experience even though it’s a training position. I had 3 years management experience in retail but they wanted a little more which I can understand but was a little disappointing as it was for a training position
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Jewel-Osco (Itasca, IL) in Aug 2013
Interview
Horrible Interviewer and Recruiter, She was very unprofessional and rude. Jewel should be ashamed of themselves for hiring this recruiter to represent their company. Everybody knows Jewel has a not so good rep in the Chicagoland area so the last thing Jewel needs is idiots representing them. I'm a African American male and I was treated very badly by a African American recruiter.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Jewel-Osco in Oct 2013
Interview
The interview process can take a while. I spoke with a recruiter at a job fair, filled out the online application the next day, but I didn't get an interview for another 3 weeks. During the interview, I was informed that it's a 2-step process in which I was initially interviewed by the recruiter. I was told that if they thought I was a good fit, they would bring me in a for a second interview.
