I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Jimmy John's (Miami, FL) in Jan 2016
Interview
Very basic questions... how did you hear of them? why do you want to work here? Have you made subs before? asks a lot about your previous work. One thing that's different is they asked me what I like to do for fun. Honestly I think those were like the only questions, almost all of the interview was asking me what I did at my last job.
They ask you to memorize the sandwiches and the ingredients in them. They make you come back and write the list and ingredients out. You are also asked standard interview questions.

Had me memorize sandwich list and rewrite it on a sheet of binder paper. I had to write each and every single one of the ingredients in each and every single one of the sandwiches that they offered on their menu. I had to do this perfectly.
