The store manager interviewed me on the sales floor and nobody else was present on staff apart from the security guard. After a few questions about my availability and work experience, he offered me the job.

Hiring manager lied and promised $10/hr during "training for two weeks". Never saw anything but $8/hr!! Got nothing but dirty looks when this was challenged. Interviewed in a grocery store cafeteria. Totally informal structure.

Total interview took less than 15 minutes and, having worked in many significant organizations in the past, it was insulting to sit there and not be asked anything about how my 30+ years in senior-level sales and marketing management experience in the apparel industry could contribute very positively toward the achievement of short- and long-term goals for the store and the company.
