      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Job Corps

      Interview

The hiring process is excruciatingly long and drawn out. It may be 6 weeks before you hear back after submitting an application. It may also take several weeks before you are offered the job.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

The interview is by committee and you will be talking to the tops of people's heads as they write down your answers. This is a good thing as they are looking for specific answers so your interview can be "graded" and allotted points. The higher the points, the better chance of you getting a job offer.

      Teacher Interview

      Aug 18, 2015
      Anonymous employee
      Phoenix, AZ
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Job Corps (Phoenix, AZ) in Oct 2012

      Interview

Once EMC took over the contract, I was re-interviewed by a representative of EMC. That is when I got the first view into what kind of company they were. The interview was unlike any interview I have ever had. The lady made me feel small and that I didn't bring enough to the table. She made it sound like 10+ years being a teacher wasn't good enough for Phoenix Job Corps Center.
