If they like you, they might first call to see if you are still interested. Then a fitment call can happen, to hear if you would be a good fit. If so, an interview is scheduled. This is the Targeted Selection behavioral interview, and rates you using the STAR process. Search for it on the net. Look for Targeted Selection Engineer questions or something like that. You want to show the key behaviors. Highest score pretty much wins. You will get at a minimum of 2, 1 hour long interviews, each one with 2 interviewers with their own question sheets.

It was two 1-hour interviews each with 2 interviewers. In both interviews they asked 5 STAR behavioral/situational questions and wanted a specific "competency" to be highlighted. Pretty standard questions and nothing out of the ordinary and an overall good experience.

I applied online without referral and received a phone screening as the first step. After that, I had a team meeting with the hiring manager, where he mainly discussed John Deere and the role. He also asked about my background, and I asked him about the work his team is doing. After that, I got a call for the final interview, which was split into two one-hour sessions, both focused on behavioral questions.
