At the time of the interview the office of the Johnson Matthey India was in Gopaldas Bhavan in the central part of New Delhi city. I was called on a particular day and received informaiton about a week in advance. The persons who interviewed me were (i) the head of the catalysts division and (ii) the head of H.R. The head of the catalysts division discussed the technical things about the chemical process of fertilizer and some general questions. he also discussed for some time about the work in a fertilizer plant site that I had worked in Srilanka a few months earlier. The head of H.R. asked questions things sucha s (a) if he were to ask my mom asking for a very concise description of her son, what would she say - I said she would say my son is very adamant to get/ reach what he would want. (b) how many weeks / months I would need for me to move from where I was to Delhi, if I was selected. On the whole I got the impression that they were friendly and talked the things which were relevant.
