I had previous experience working with the team, so the first few rounds of interviews with the HR person and hiring manager were very simple and straightforward, just making sure that I was willing to move locations and checking in around the salary. The most formal interview I had was the panel interview to give a job talk. It was 30 minutes, 12-ish people, and there was only time for 2 questions at the end and everyone had to go. The process drawn out with months between interviews.

I was contacted about 2 weeks after submitting my application online. Spoke with the recruiter and she gave some good information and guidance on the process. The same day I received an email from the hiring manager to discuss the role but via phone instead of their standard Teams meeting. The phone call was about 45 minutes long, however, I was not asked much which leads me to believe this was a filler interview and they already had a candidate in mind. I followed up a week later and never heard anything. It’s was disappointing to be ghosted by a company like this.

It's alright, High metrics, it really depends on your manager and team. Everything is silo'd. Hard to progress. Constantly focused on building new platforms instead of fixing those they already have.
