I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Jonas Software in Sep 2019
Interview
I was contacted by the company HR. Then the person who was hiring for his team called me to inform that I will get information in an email about the interview which was a presentation that I had to prepare in a week. I worked really hard collecting all the information for that presentation and did all my research and prepared my presentation in power point. On the day of interview there were three people on the panel including the person who was hiring for his team. They asked me few questions about the presentations etc and then told me they will follow up. After a week I got a rejection email. I emailed the same person and asked him to give me a feedback regarding my interview so I could improve myself for future job interviews . No response at all. Then after a few days I emailed him again still no answer. My only advice to management is that all the candidates work really hard invest their time doing the research and even the preparation for presentation for the interview wasn’t easy. They should atleast provide feedback or let the candidate know how they can improve further.

They asked mostly S.M.A.R.T questions such as tell us about a time when you thought you had clearly communicated something but turns out it wasn't received clearly.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Jonas Software (Markham, ON) in Feb 2023
Interview
I had a recruiter reach out to schedule a screening call. This was the worst phone screening I have ever had in my 10+ year career. The recruiter only brought up the parts of my application that weren't going to be needed for the position. She did not ask me a single question about my relevant experience, which seems like a miss on her end. I have been a project coordinator for 6 years, and I was not asked a single question about my experience in this position. The recruiter asked me "why did you check the box as someone with a disability" to which I responded with "because I am disabled". I was incredibly offended and taken aback when she proceeded to ask "Why? Like, what do you have". I answered briefly as I was upset at the question, and she didn't seem to pick up on how insensitive and inappropriate that question was. I was not even given a chance to ask questions, as she simply said "Ok I will let you know next week" and ended the call when she was done asking questions. It has now been 3 weeks since our call and I have not heard from her. I have followed up 3 times and she has not answered or informed of any decisions/delays. This experience has shown me that Jonas Software is not somewhere that I would want to work, and they do a terrible job of representing their company through their recruiters.
The first phase of the interview was done virtually/online. HR was very nice, friendly and gave positive feedback. Unfortunately, I was not selected to move to the next phase of the interview.
