Ineffective process. Scheduled phone screen. Hiring recruiter rescheduled twice. After connected to call found the recruiter was late then when they joined there was no apologies. Believe the recruiter was sick and claimed they could not share video but it was required I did. Answered all questions with bits of silence in between as the recruiter forgot to take herself off mute. An entire month later my final interview was scheduled. That was a pleasant experience. Manager and director were nice and it flowed well. However, was told I would hear back good or bad by the following week and did not hear back. Reached out to those I interviewed with and it’s now been three weeks! Still no response. Suffice to say, I did not get the job. However the job market is already brutal enough without the un professionalism I experienced with this process. To not provide basic level communication to applicants who are desperately seeking employment (especially when you mentioned you wouldn’t “keep anyone hanging”) is not only unprofessional but inhumane. My suggestion would be to hire a large enough team in HR so there is no lapse proper communication with applicants.
