Interview
I applied for Journeys at a local mall on Friday, September 16th,!2016 and I walked in to check my application process. I heard something about how you're less likely to get hired if you call in to check your application process. I went in on Tuesday, September 20th, 2016 and the manager told me he would call me back. I received the call the next day and was told to come in for a group interview on Sunday, September 25th, 2016. The interview was kind of long because we each sold him a shoe. He brought them out as a prop. He basically was testing out everyone's personality and how well everyone worked on the spot. He spent more time on this rather than hitting us with a bunch of questions. He did have us answer questions but he had us write them down.
It includes an interview with one of their managers with behavioral and experience based interview questions. They may ask for a phone screening with a manager as well. The whole process shouldn't take more than a few weeks.

It was quick and easy. Applied and got a call back 2 days later asking me why I wanted to work there and my availability. Then set up an in person interview which took around 10 minutes.
Quick 30 minute conversation. Pretty straightforward. As long as you seem like you can talk to people and are responsible you’ll be fine. Since it’s entry level they didn’t ask too much about past work experience.
